PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Loyolites,

Education today is not just about teaching and learning alone. It is about mentoring and accompanying the child.

Every child expects appreciation, guidance, encouragement and support. If we only give a pat when it does well is not enough. It also needs to be moulded, pruned, corrected from time to time to respond to challenges, defeats and struggles.

Mentoring should not just be positive. A child must taste defeat or come second to know that failure is part of life. That is mentoring – a combination of positive and negative experiences. Mentoring is creating an environment for the child to bloom fully in the midst of thorns like a rose.

We, at Loyola, try this by a good blend of strictness and kindness. We have a good combination of excellent, qualified and experienced staff. Sports and cultural activities too are given prominence for the all-round development of children.

We are committed in our mission to mould our students to be leaders and “Persons for and with others’ ready to serve society as men and women of educational caliber and humane qualities able to contribute to the wellbeing, peace and harmony in society.

We look to our Patron, St Ignatius of Loyola, who stands tall for his dream and and commitment to do Gods’ will and wish to thank God Almighty for all his gifts, blessings, graces showered on us all these years.

Welcome to Loyola Family.
